Thank you for visiting the Starston Village website- and welcome back to those of you who noticed that we have been offline for some time! This new look and layout are temporary. You will see that some items have been deleted, partly because we are trying to reduce clutter and partly because some of the pages had not been maintained. If any of your favourites have disappeared, let us know via the contact form, and we will see what we can do to reinstate them. If you can spare a little time help to keep the content up to date, so much the better. If you have any comments on the look and design of this site, then we should be delighted to hear from you.
One feature which we hope to restore soon is the Gallery of slide shows, provided by some of you at the cost of no small effort. Please bear with us while we work to reinstate these.
This website is designed and maintained by volunteers for the benefit of all areas of the Starston community.
Here you can find information about our village, the events that are planned, who is who, the history of the village and a gallery of pictures.
Starston is a small village in the Waveney Valley in Norfolk, England. It has a church - St. Margaret's - a village hall, an historic hollow post wind pump and a population of around 340 people, (the exact number inevitably varies between each census) spread across around 120 households.
